The central feature of the Meridian at Port Douglas is the heated, all-year-round, lagoon-style pool. There is also an outdoor barbecue entertaining area and an 8-person Jacuzzi/spa set amongst the tropical gardens. All of the Meridian's self-contained apartments and studios are situated on the upper levels of the resort and come with a balcony and fully equipped kitchenette. The popular Macrossan Street restaurant strip is only 100 metres away, and the Four Mile Beach only slightly further. Cairns is 1 hour's drive from the resort. Guests staying for 7 or more continuous nights can enjoy a free, 1.5-hour sunset sailing trip with snacks and a drink.

For cancellations received less than 7 days before date of arrival, payments will only be refunded if the apartment can be re-let. Please note that children under 15 years cannot be accommodated.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, a fixed amount of AUD 50 will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. Children and Extra Bed Policy: Children older than 15 years are welcome. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room. Deposit Policy: No deposit will be charged. VAT and city/tourist taxes: 10 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable. City/tourist tax is not applicable. Internet: Wi-fi is available in public areas and costs AUD 10 per hour. Meal Plan: There is no meal option with this hotel. Parking: Free private parking is possible on site. Pets: Pets are not allowed. The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
