Heavitree Gap Outback Lodge is located at the gateway to Australias Red Centre, at the base of the spectacular MacDonnell Ranges, only a 3 minute drive to the Town Centre. Rooms are large, clean, and include balcony, bathroom with a shower, air conditioning, a refrigerator and tea/coffee making facilities. A shuttle bus operates Monday to Friday going to the town centre 3 times a day free of charge, also you can hand feed our black footed rock wallabies at the base of the ranges nightly. Free in-house films and internet is available at reception. The Lodge also offers a Tavern, Supermarket, Red Centre Dreaming dinner and dance show, laundry facilities and a swimming pool.

By rail: The famous Ghan, one of the world’s great railway journeys, operates between Adelaide, Alice Springs and Darwin twice weekly. Airport Shuttle Bus: The Alice Springs Airport Shuttle service operates transfers to and from Alice Springs hotels (fees apply). Transfers from the airport to Alice Springs city can be booked and paid for on arrival.
